Manager - Receivable

Responsibilities:

AR Operations & Team Leadership:

- Lead the AR team in managing the entire receivables cycle, from invoice processing to collections and dispute resolution.

- Develop and implement effective AR processes and strategies to ensure timely and efficient collections.

- Motivate, mentor, and coach a team of AR professionals, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.

- Conduct performance reviews and support team growth and development through training and development opportunities.

Credit Control & Risk Management:

- Develop and implement credit control policies to minimize bad debts and optimize cash flow.

- Analyze customer creditworthiness and establish appropriate credit limits.

- Manage collection activities, including identifying and resolving past-due accounts.

- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure adherence to credit policies.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

- Oversee the accuracy and integrity of AR data and reporting.

- Monitor key AR metrics and provide insights into collection performance.

- Work with the General Ledger (GL) team to ensure proper recording and reconciliation of AR transactions.

Process Improvement & Innovation:

- Continuously evaluate and improve AR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies in AR automation.

- Implement strategies to leverage technology to streamline collections activities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor/masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.(CPA or equivalent certification preferred)

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) with leadership experience.

- Strong understanding of AR processes, credit control principles, and collection strategies.

- Proven experience in managing and motivating a team to achieve performance goals.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on results orientation.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
