The incumbent will be responsible for:

- Product development and design support

- Interaction with multidisciplinary team for developing product briefs

- Carrying out market visits and updating of trends and new products

- Benchmarking of products with respect to Indian and markets abroad

- Design ideation, presentations, 3D modeling and prototyping"

Qualification

Essential Post Graduate Qualification in Industrial design

Preferred Post Graduate Qualification in Industrial designer from institutes such as IDC, NID or equivalent design school

Experience

Essential 3 - 5 years of work experience in Industrial design

Preferred Relevant work experience in R&D of products, white goods or equivalent

Skills required

1. Hand sketching skills

2. Ideation /conceptualization skills

3. Knowledge of:

- CAD modeling viz., Alias/Rhinoceros

- Corel Draw and Photoshop

- CAD modeling viz., UG, Pro-E and AutoCAD

4. Presentation skills

5. Creativity and Innovation
