Manager - Raw Materials & Packaging Materials - Baddi/Himachal Pradesh
We have a suitable opportunity in a renowned organisation in India for the position of Manager - MSC. In this role, you will be responsible for closely working with the plant and HO team to keep the hygiene of books of account, simplification of processes and assist in strengthening internal Controls, in line with the Group's policies. You should have 4-7 years of relevant experience. The job will be located at the Baddi Plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the supply/procurement of packaging components according to the production plan and supply parameters, while controlling stock levels. ("Components" in below description stands for Packaging Materials and/or Raw Materials)
- Implement methods of supply, stock policy and update logistics requirements. Inform the stakeholders.
- Send to suppliers the monthly/weekly provisions of the catalogue.
- Anticipate any availability issues regarding components/raw materials and inform key actors (logistics and production). Make recommendations to minimize impacts and to avoid crises.
- Manage components level of stocks.
- Manage component substitution in case of quality issues
- Ensure availability of new components for launches with suppliers
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers (KPIs follow-up, agreement on service level)
- Analyze and communicate on all cases involving slow movers and obsolete materials.
- Participate in encouraging suppliers' flexibility with the Purchasing team and Supply Manager.
- Build and validate Bills of materials with the Launch Manager
- Timely submission of provisions and bills to the Accounts team
- Work with stakeholders to improve the Agility of material availability thereby improving the Agility of key catalogue products
