Principal Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and reviewing the implementation of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory requirements and regulations such as FSSA, W & M, FPO, PFA, and PCB.
- Guaranteeing that all products meet company specifications throughout the supply chain to the end consumer.
- Identifying, planning, documenting, and managing practices, activities, and resources to achieve quality goals.
- Ensuring adherence to guidelines and requirements during the manufacturing process to meet finished goods specifications.
- Performing required tests as per the Material Testing Form (MTF) for incoming raw materials, packaging materials, WTP, syrup preparation, and finished products.
- Ensuring two-way traceability forward to consumers and backward to raw materials.
- Implementing availability of standard chemical reagents, verifying concentration, and managing equipment calibration programs.
- Ensuring conformity to storage conditions for raw materials, NABB, auxiliary materials, and final products.
- Implementing a consumer response program and supporting the consumer response department in addressing product integrity concerns.
- Reviewing and analyzing Quality Index, conducting root cause analysis for failures, and developing corrective action plans.
- Developing and implementing a Corrective Action Program in response to Quality Audit reports.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintaining records and retention samples in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Selecting, coaching, providing feedback, and developing Quality Assurance personnel.
- Developing an environmental assessment and accountability program in coordination with the HO-EHS.
- Establishing and maintaining GMP/GHK norms at depots and plants.
Knowledge in depth :
a. Comprehensive understanding of beverage production technology and quality characteristics.
b. Thorough knowledge of various process parameters and their impact on product quality specifications.
c. Ability to obtain FPO/PFA licenses and ensure compliance with related laws and regulations.
d. Expertise in beverage processing.
