Manager - Purchase - Solar Energy

Responsibilities:

- Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for solar energy products, considering factors like cost, quality, and supplier reliability.

- Supplier Management & Negotiation: Evaluate and qualify potential suppliers, negotiate favorable contracts, and maintain positive relationships with key vendors.

- Material Sourcing & Acquisition: Source, quote, and procure a wide range of solar energy materials to meet project requirements within budget constraints.

- Inventory Management: Implement and maintain efficient inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.

- Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring adherence to cost-efficiency goals while meeting project requirements.

- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement in sourcing and cost control.

- Teamwork & Communication: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (engineering, project management) and external vendors to ensure smooth procurement processes.

Qualifications:

- Procurement Expertise: Minimum 1+ years of experience in a procurement role, preferably within the solar energy industry.

- Solar Energy Knowledge: Demonstrable knowledge of solar energy products, industry trends, and procurement best practices in the renewable energy sector.

- Negotiation & Supplier Management: Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing vendor relationships to secure favorable contracts and ensure reliable performance.

- Analytical & Decision-Making: Excellent analytical skills to evaluate supplier bids, market trends, and cost-efficiency factors.

- Budgeting & Inventory Control: Experience in developing and managing procurement budgets, along with implementing effective inventory control systems.

- Communication & Teamwork: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
