Manager Public Policy - Delhi
Reporting to : President-Strategy
Business Unit : Strategy and Corporate Affairs
- Act as a liaison for governmental affairs on behalf of the Board of Directors or Management Council
- Provide support to the management on government's initiatives related to company's interests.
- Represent the organization's interests at public meetings and forums as applicable to the adoption and enactment of public policies by local, regional, and national governmental bodies
- Responsible for spear heading public relations initiatives required to promote the organization's values, plans, policies and interests
- Develop work plans and plans of action for Public Policy consistent with the organization's Strategic Plan
Key Responsibilities :
- Contribute to the strategic development and delivery of corporate strategy with a particular focus on key priority goals - influence and visibility and impact and value.
- To ensure that stays abreast of key policy changes and relevant external issues that could impact on relationship support.
- Provide leadership, program development, and program management for public policy activities and initiatives
- Assure that the organization has a long-range policy plan to achieve its goals and objectives in a timely manner
- Provide leadership in developing program, organizational, and financial plans.
- Engage in policy development. Develop and disseminate issue briefs/white papers on various policy issues.
- Maintain official records and documents, and ensure compliance with organizational policies
- Manage public policy strategic directions and be responsible for the recruitment and supervision of department personnel, consultants, and volunteers.
Educational Qualifications :
- Please mention minimum grade/percentage, if over and above organizational guidelines, as well as names of institutes, if applicable) MBA from premier institute.
- Years of Experience (minimum & maximum) : 4-8 Years

- Managing Public affairs of the organization
- Influence, build and manage relationships in diverse external environment.
- Strategic decisions relating to the devising, development, planning and implementation of policies.
- Proven track record of working with and influencing high profile individuals within the political and policy making sphere.
- Experience of drafting amendments to legislation.
Knowledge & Skills (Indicate which criteria are mandatory) :
- Significant expertise and experience in public policy development and practice.
- Excellent written and oral communications, including media and public relations.
- Excellent organisational, planning, facilitation, time management and project management skills.
- The ability to take the initiative, plan own work, and exercise independent judgement and discretion is response to a constantly changing political environment.
