Job Description

The role of Manager - Project Implementation, provides a unique opportunity to engage with leading NGOs working in the field of Adolescents and engage with other key stakeholders such as funders, researchers, academicians and technical experts in the field adolescents. Managers build and maintain client relationships, provide leadership and supervision to team members. The role encompasses a set of key activities aimed at creating collaboration across the portfolio organizations as well as working on components of monitoring and evaluation across the programs as well as project levels. Core activities will include overseeing the implementation of multiple programs and projects across the portfolio organizations, including creating workplans, monitoring and working closely with the leadership and program teams of the NGOs.

You will be a key member of the Adolescents Collaborative team, leading and working closely with colleagues to develop robust and comprehensive collaboration framework and project delivery and monitoring mechanisms compelling proposals and providing strategic support and direction for organizational funding needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

A manager's role spans across the entire spectrum of Project Management activities covering Planning & Process

- Project Execution

- Program Tracking

- Reporting and Analysis

These will include-

- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with respect to objectives, critical issues, work plan, implications, recommendations, potential risks/roadblocks, and implementation plan.

- Create and execute on work plans for all implementation programs.

- Ensure effective and efficient program execution and monitoring including achievement of milestones and deliverables committed, including identifying, managing and analyzing the collection of key performance metrics on a timely basis.

- Ensure effective and efficient program monitoring; reporting processes are in place and implemented for all program activities.

- Ensure that lessons, learning, and research around program quality are carried out and used for program quality improvement.

- Create and manage deep engagement with implementing and technical partners for a continued alignment with the cause of adolescents and that of the collaborative

- Responsible for formal/informal updates and reporting on implementations

- Lead the development, adaptation, testing and mainstreaming of best/good practices in needs assessment, project design, implementation within the organisation

Vendor Management

- Lead by example and nurture the project implementation team. Develop the team's all round capability through in-job coaching, devolving responsibility and identifying the skills and experience needed from formal skills training.

- Work cross functionally within the organisation to develop the activities and assets needed. Build coalitions and collaborations externally to deliver the plan.

- Driving a systematic and disciplined approach to work in the team and provides clarity to the team on deliverables with respect to different projects and supports the team in consistent achievement of targets; and also contributes to overall team talent management, L&D, process implementation and role modeling of behaviors

- Contribute to organizational initiatives and process improvements
