Job Title (India Title): Manager – Project Finance

Purpose of the position:Reporting to the Senior Manger - Finance your primary responsibilities will be defining project description & scope and conducting feasibility studies to determine the financial viability of new ventures projecting cash flow & growth opportunities

General Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate capital investment proposals and calculation of project /dividend IRR’s, DSCR’s, Sensitivity analysis etc

2. Develop project plan and recommended deliverables and milestones

3. Prepare, Monitor and ensure cash flows, fund flows, Profitability Statements, IRRs, Payback periods, DSCRs, projected profitability and other financial parameters / reports to analyze inflow / outflow of funds and profits/surplus resulting thereof

4. Compiling and preparing cost and performance reports as per cost accounting records rule (CARR), cost benefit analysis and critical analysis of cost reports; recommending necessary corrective actions.

5. Liaise closely with regional/corporate finance function to ensure timely communication, compliance and consistency

6. Liaison with regulatory authorities for sanctions & approvals.

7. Ensure data is provided to the advisors is understood and correctly reflected in the financial analysis of new venture/ plant setup.

8. Ensure the financial model is optimized to ensure the competitiveness of company bid.

9. Work within an Integrated Project Team (working with other functions, Operations and specialist Advisers, vendors) to provide specialist project and structured finance advice and to deliver, negotiate and close deals.

10. Work with project directors to provide financing support to manage the development of new sectors and markets.

Reporting Relationships:

1. Reports to (Role): Senior Manager Finance.

2. Direct Reports (Role & Number): 1 or 2 at Executive level.

3. Level of Supervision needed: Minimum

Qualification:

1. Education: Qualified CA/ ICWA/ MBA with 7+ years of relevant experiences of handling big projects of plant startups/ setting up of Green Field Projects/ Launching new plants and sub ventures.

2. Experience : 7+ years experience in New Projects / Plant setups for FMCG/ Consumer Goods and Consumer Durables .

Others :

1. Commercial awareness.

2. Good knowledge of accounting and taxation.

3. Competency in financial modelling-the ability to convert the structure of mechanisms that can be defined in terms of quantifiable parameters into a set of spreadsheet calculations.

4. Knowledge of funding structures and documentation.

5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills as the role involves interacting both in writing, by phone, and in person, with the group of External advisors & vendors.

6. Good organisational skills - need to manage working on more than one project at once and often to strict deadlines.
