Manager - Production Support - Manufacturing

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of production support, ensuring smooth operation, efficient resource utilization, and timely project completion.

- Provide support to production teams by identifying and resolving challenges, bottlenecks, and potential delays.

- Develop and implement effective production support strategies to optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and minimize production disruptions.

- Manage inventory control of production materials and supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.

- Collaborate with production planners and schedulers to ensure production timelines are met and adjust schedules as needed.

- Monitor production processes to identify quality control issues and implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards.

- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement process optimization initiatives.

- Manage and maintain production support documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality control checklists.

- Oversee the activities of production support personnel, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and development opportunities.

- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the production team, promoting open communication and teamwork.

- Liaise with other departments (e. , engineering, procurement) to ensure seamless coordination and support for production activities.

Key Requirements:

- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a production environment, preferably in a manufacturing or similar setting.

- Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing production support operations.

- Strong understanding of production processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality control methodologies.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and collaborate effectively with team members
