Manager - Product Strategy - Apparel Industry

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Product Strategy: - Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the brand's vision and Brand positioning and market requirement. - Collaborate with Product design, Marketing, and Sales teams to create innovative and cohesive product collections. - Manage the entire product life cycle, from conceptualisation to delivery at end consumers doorstep.

2. Assortment Planning: - Oversee the development of seasonal product assortments, ensuring a balanced and trendforward mix. - Analyse sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to refine and optimize assortments.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Collaborate closely with Design, Sourcing, Marketing, and Retail teams to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to product development and merchandising.

4. Market Analysis: - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. - Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and challenges, adapting merchandising strategies accordingly.

5. Financial Performance: - Develop and manage departmental budgets to achieve sales and gross margin targets. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to drive financial success.

YOUR PROFILE - Proven experience (10-12 years) in product strategy or buying and merchandising background, preferably in a retail industry.

- Masters degree in business, Merchandising and / or Fashion.

- Extensive experience in the Fashion Space in India, in areas of Product management and Merchandising within the Footwear | Apparel industry.

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

- Proven track record of successful product launches and assortment planning. - In-depth knowledge of fashion industry trends and consumer behavior
