Responsibilities:
- Conceptualization of new innovative features & plan for inclusion in product line up.
- Plan for SKU optimization.
- Product line up finalization.
- Mid Term and Long-Term Road map & strategy.
- Global product study - feature / design / road map / life-style trend analysis.
- Benchmarking, price positioning, specification comparison to improve market share (vs competition).
- To secure new product planning policy approval.
Key Result Area:
- Plan, strategize and manage AC product, line-ups and product roadmaps to align with business directions and sales targets
- Techno commercial product management for South Asia & Middle East/Africa
- Generate ideas for improvement and sustainability of new products and current products.
- Liaise closely with various cross functional departments i.e. R&D in product developments
- Identify market trends related to product and provide vision for continued leadership
- Pricing strategy & channel wise SKU Planning
- Annual PRM Planning and Joint Business planning and performance for Key partners
- SKU Performance and optimization with Sell In / Sell Out and profit management
- Cost control and early estimates of P/L based on sales PSI both for factory and category
- Make analysis on consumers' surveys reports and periodic market reports to compliment products development.
- GFK & Market Share analysis along with Primary and Secondary Interpretation
- Competition analysis and price positioning for strategic preparations
