Position- Manager, Marketing
Reporting to AVP Marketing
Location - Gurgoan
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for driving all product marketing initiatives for the company. Discover new opportunities to strengthen product go to market for the company.
Product
- Lead new product positioning, and see it all the way through launch and sustenance of the product
- Refine and improve existing products, in line with internal or regulatory changes in order to strengthen Products go- to-market strategy
- Drive conceptualization and implementation of new sales stories for sellers, in conjunction with Products and Distribution Team
- Identify new product and growth opportunities for the company via in depth assessment of international and domestic product trends
Analysis of product features in competition products, domestic and international, to identify new spaces, potential need gaps
Look for ways to leverage existing products better among current and emerging consumer segments
- Ensure deployment of all product - related marketing collateral in distribution, digital and training functions
Distribution:
- Effectively engage with all distribution channels, and bake selling practices and inputs into new product development and current product improvement
- Work with research and products to test efficacy of new product and sales stories with sellers and bake inputs into positioning and go to market
- Enhance seller efficacy by conceptualizing and developing new sales aids/tools to enhance seller productivity
- Gather Best practices of distribution selling within the Industry and outside, to enhance marketing support with respect to product selling
Regulatory:
- Ensure timely and error-free filing of all collaterals created, accordance with the compliance and rules of the regulator.
- Dissemination of regulatory information/changes to relevant teams.
Communication:
- Support team in large organisation-wide changes (e.g. identity evolution, common purpose)
Measures of Success
- Adhere to time and quality of output for launches
- Translating product knowledge into attractive, consumer-relevant positioning
- Need gap identification
- New product concepts
- New sales story/ sales aid development
- Feedback from Sales Channel heads and Product teams
- Zero slipups on compliance and regulatory requirements
- Smooth inter and intra-departmental coordination

Desired qualification and experience
- Post Graduate Degree/Diploma preferably MBA.
- Ideally 5-7 years of work experience in a product marketing assignment. Else, we can look at someone with part experience in product marketing and part in sales (solution selling) or in product development role
- Candidate to be preferably be from financial sector. If not, then from B2C service industries.
