Children going to English medium schools fall behind academically because they are expected to learn, read and speak in a language that is alien to them and their surroundings - English. In India itself an estimated 89% of 260 million children read below grade level.

We solve that problem by giving them an affordable, research based, scientifically designed and intuitive in-school reading programs which are systematic, contextual and age-appropriate, currently impacting more than 100,000 children across 15 cities.

The team believes that by helping children to 'Learn to Read' in elementary years, they enable them to 'Read to Learn' during formal education and eventually 'Read to Lead' in their chosen path, aiding them in finding their place in the world.

Position Purpose & Key Responsibilities:

- To lead the implementation of Freadom (www.getfreadom.com), our parent application, slated to be used by more than 50,000 paid users across the country

- Strategic role in building the first comprehensive reading app for parents and children between ages 3 - 9

- Help & train teachers and coordinators get accustomed to technology in the classroom/education

- Formulate strategic roadmap and ideate on adoption of the application in the Indian school ecosystem

- To conduct parent research and focus groups to identify usage trends

- To represent S2M well and effectively in external forums, events and conferences 

- Think through product challenges and solutions to plug those gaps via technology

- Ability to analyse data and usage patterns to increase engagement and retention

Required Qualification & Skills:

- Passion for technology in education

- Hands on experience with using edtech tools

- Strategic Design thinker

- Experience of having built grown B2C tech products is preferred

- Good writing, language and editing skills

- Interpersonal skills & Communication Skills

- Results driven with strong learning skills
