Job Title/Designation : Manager-Products(Research & New Product Communication Strategies)Mumbai

Reports to (Position) : Head of Marketing & Products
Location : Mumbai
Position Purpose : Assist in driving the product strategy for India with a focus on improving awareness and driving asset growth. Monitor, anticipate and assess market, client, competitor, regulatory, and industry trends to drive product strategy and find opportunities for new product innovation.
Principal Accountabilities :
1. Product Research & New Product Strategies :
- Conduct primary, secondary research and competitive analyses to drive insights, form recommendations and develop meaningful content based on data analysis.
- Define and build the business case for product development or product modification initiatives.
2. Presentations & Content Creation :
- Develop compelling product presentations and product notes.
- Provide content in the development of presentations, investment insight articles, investor education articles, timely product ideas and other marketing collateral & materials.
- Build short, punchy copy from longer -form thought leadership for a variety of digital platforms, including email, website and social media.
- Build timely insights in support of sales initiatives based on internal research around investment strategies.
3. Product Communication :
- Collaborate with other internal functional partners including the Investment, Distribution, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Marketing teams.
- Ensure consistency in the investment stories for assigned products across all communication platforms.
- Copy edit and fact check quarterly performance commentaries as needed.
- Implement quality control to ensure the accuracy of all content as well as consistency with firm style and brand.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies :
- Strong writing, editing, communication and presentation skills, including the ability to tailor materials for various audiences and levels of sophistication.
- Strong grasp of investment concepts and products in the asset management industry with a good understanding of equity & Fixed Income markets.
- Ability to interpret investment concepts & research to build product content.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
