Manager - Procurement

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Formulate and drive all strategic initiatives towards the goal of achieving long-term partnerships with WTG OEMs

- Execution of RFIs, RFPs/RFQs and any necessary bid process to evaluate product options and select the right WTG OEM for a given project or set of projects.

- Manage negotiations regarding WTG supply contracts (MOU, LTSA, WTG Supply/ Warranty/ O&M contracts, etc.)

- Develop a close network with all wind industry players

- Manage entire Procure-to-Pay Process - Prepare and Release RFP, Obtain Quotes, Negotiate, Prepare Techno-commercial Evaluation and Comparison Statement, Recommendation, Note for Approval, Contract/ Purchase Order/ Work Order Preparation & Closure.

- Settle issues with Supplier/ Contractor viz. payment reconciliation, debit note, implementation of penalty clauses, risk purchase clauses etc.

- Networking, Supplier/ Contractor Relationship Management, Keeping up-to-date with Industry, Knowledge of Product Upgrade / Technology Changes

- Well-versed with contractual clauses and Legal aspects pertaining to Procurement & Supply Chain domain

- Managing Negotiations for Better Deals, Problem Solving, Data Analysis and Presentation, Written & Verbal Communication Skills

- Conversant with ERP software such as SAP HANA/ Ariba & procurement tools/ software for conducting auctions

- Successful track record of 10 to 12 years in Procurement / Sourcing / Materials Management with minimum 4-5 years of experience in handling procurement of WTG
