Key Responsibilities:
SSC setup and growth
- Hiring and developing a high-performing SSC AP team, to scale from 0 to 30+ people within the next 18 months
- Managing transition for AP services to be transferred under Company SSC 3 year roadmap, including invoice handling, payments, and travel and expenses
- Accelerate opportunities to transfer AP tasks from Company local Finance to the SSC together with Company Finance leadership
Operational excellence:
- Responsible within the Finance SSC for delivering AP SSC services and meeting SLAs and expectations on quality and costs
- Ensure compliance with risk management and controls including SOX 404 within the SSC AP function
Process innovation and transformation:
- Working with the AP Global Process Owner to enhance and standardise SSC AP processes
- Enhancing the use of our Oracle ERP & EPM and other leading technology e.g. Coupa to automate processes and reduce risk
Stakeholder management:
- Representing the SSC AP functions to global stakeholders and ensuring high satisfaction with services from Finance and non-Finance stakeholders including suppliers
- Collaborating with AP leads at business locations, as well as other Finance and Procurement leads within Hyderabad
People management:
- Lead and develop the SSC AP team in close collaboration with the SSC Head of Finance and Group Finance leadership
- Instil Companies values of Win Together, Passion for Players, and Empower and Own in the AP SSC Finance team
- Develop a 'One Finance team' culture where the SSC AP team integrates seamlessly with the wider Finance organisation
Skills and Experience:
- Qualified accountant or equivalent with 10+ years post qualification experience
- Strong academic record
- 5+ years experience in leading an AP SSC function (20+ people) ideally involving the setup or expansion of AP SSC activity for a high growth company
- Excellent understanding of AP and P2P best practices
- 3+ years of Oracle ERP experience
- Experience of SOX 404 controls
- Ability to train and develop Finance staff
- Ambitious, with the drive to develop a best-in-class AP SSC function
Staff management:
- This role will initially have dotted line responsibility for the HSCC AP team with the potential to take over line management responsibilities in the future
- Recruit local staff in collaboration with Global Finance and AP leadership
- Develop team members in conjunction with Finance leadership so that they perform and contribute in a positive way to the success of the team, including developing and updating any required SSC AP specific training
