Manager - Procurement (Packaging & Commodity - Agrochemicals)

- Plan & procure raw material and packing materials for Agro Chemicals for manufacturing at multiple plant locations as per Production Planning, reporting to GM-Commercial (Head Purchase).

- Negotiate with vendors for price, quality, schedules, payment & delivery terms. Compare & Select vendors for raw materials and packing materials.

- Prepare QCF and maintain relevant ISO documentation and audit. Scrutiny & finalization for terms of domestic contracts after comparative analysis.

- Manage supply issues and/or allocation/force majeure situations.

- New Product - Vendor development- sample approval, trial batches & regularization as approved vendors, Identify Single sourced raw material & verify reliable alternate sources with support of R&D team.

- Issue Orders & schedules in ERP. Creates, maintains contracts, masters data in ERP. Establish L/C and other remittance documents/ E-Procurement.

- New vendor development identification.

- Review status of Raw materials on daily basis.

- MIS Reports for various categories of raw material, material arrival, and pending status.

- Ensure bills are raised for availing GST credit.

Qualification And Experience:

i. 8+ years of experience in packaging & commodity procurement in Agro Chemicals Industry.

ii. Proven experience of dealing with farmers, traders, negotiation, selling, collaboration, agricultural departments state agricultural policy.

iii. Prior experience in new geography expansion and scaling up CF/Agro programs Experience of dealing with local government authorities, suppliers, transporters, farmer unions
