Manager Procurement

- Develop appropriate sourcing strategy for material procurement and work on organizational priorities for sourcing Responsible for overall material planning and supplier scheduling for raw materials and BOP parts inline with the production plan released by PPC

- Responsible for annual materials budget based on standard cost and track material & purchase price variance month on month in line with the budget Ensuring on-time material availability of all raw materials for production as per plan meeting quantity and quality requirements. To keep daily follow-up of critical Items to ensure no line stoppage

- Responsible for supplier development in all commodities like plastics injection molding, stamping, Electrical, packaging, etc.,). Handling a group of commodity buyers in various commodities. Responsible for managing & control of imports/exports of raw materials in line with the production plan

- Identifying, selection & development of new suppliers in co-ordination with engineering & supplier quality Attending quality issues of suppliers with quality team to ensure right quality material to production. Supporting SQE team for resolving quality issues

- Plan and work for localization of various import parts and reduce the import percentage to achieve localization targets Responsible for follow up and arrange supplies from subcontractors in order to ensure parts to production as per plan

- To plan and work for cost reduction activities by supplier consolidation / resourcing / direct price reduction / VA/VE etc. In line with the annual cost savings plan To monitor supplier performance on monthly basis and work for improvement of the same alongwith SQE team and suppliers

- Responsible for implementation of engineering changes from time to time as per the plan Work for achieving inventory targets for the raw materials as per the plan. Developing systems for better inventory control (like Milk Run system, Kanban system, 2-Bin system)

- Product BOM Costing Management which involves costing management of all the products and bill of materials. Managing cost finalisation with suppliers and responsible for keeping up-to-date costing with suppliers Spares procurement planning & compliance as per the spares schedule released by service

- Develop a system to track commodities prices and overall cost management of suppliers. Responsible to ensure supply purchase agreements with all suppliers in order to protect the organisation interest To plan and work for cost reduction activities as per plan

- Monitoring of supplier performance and plan for their development & upgradation. Perform other duties as necessary to meet company goals & objectives

- Responsible for MRO items procurement, capital procurement, AMC & Service contracts

- Leads the sourcing team towards the accomplishment of strategies and KPI
