Manager - Procurement - Capital Goods/Consumables

Salary offered: 6 - 15 LPA

- Managing logistics and inventory operations involving coordination with international freight forwarders & other external agencies

- Managing overall procurement of capital goods, raw materials, tools, consumables, machineries, machine spares, services, equipment & other project requirement from domestic & overseas sources

- Developing alternatives vendors for the costly imported consumables & tools, maintaining quality as per the standards of imported items to reduce manufacturing cost

- Establishing good working relationships with vendors through personal contact; discussing and resolving issues related to Quality & Delivery performance.

- Directing the development and implementation of key purchase / procurement strategies; identifying & developing reliable vendor for procurement of materials.

- Enhanced liquidity through negotiating credit policies without affecting purchase prices.

- Prepare purchase requisitions, approve & issue purchase orders in accordance with company policy & negotiated terms & conditions.
