Position Description: Procure to Pay Manager

Location: Bangalore, India


Summary of Responsibilities:

- This position shall be part of the financial reporting (controllership) function of the company.

- The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, detail oriented and will possess the ability to work well with cross-functional teams, vendors, shared service center and in a fast-paced environment.


- Equally important for success in this role is the ability to collaborate with diverse teams of professionals to new levels of success in a variety of complex tasks as the business continues to grow.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

- You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end P2P process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and regulations.

- This role requires strong leadership skills, as you will be leading a team of procurement and accounts payable professionals.

- You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the P2P process, reduce costs, and enhance supplier relationships. The P2P Manager will work closely with various departments, including finance, operations, and IT, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of the P2P process with overall business objectives.

- You will be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on the performance of the P2P process to senior management. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

- Lead and mentor a team of procurement and accounts payable professionals.

- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of the P2P process.

- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.

- Conduct regular audits to ensure process accuracy and efficiency.

- Resolve any issues or discrepancies in the P2P process.

Basic Qualifications:

- CA/MBA with 3-6 years of relevant experience or a graduate with 10+ years of experience in relevant field.

- Experience in managing the P2P process.

- Experience in working with shared service center or worked in a shared service center.

- Understanding of the retail business. Prior experience in a complex retail organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions

- Proven ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment

- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Customer focus and professional demeanor
