Job Description : Process Improvement Leader
Designation : Manager - Process Improvement
Reporting into: Service Delivery Leader
Qualification :
Minimum Bachelor degree ; Six Sigma certification, Green Belt Minimum; Black Belt preferred; Finance & Accounting understanding / certification
Experience :
- 8- 10 years of experience in manufacturing / service industry
- Relevant experience of operationalizing quality /process improvement in a service set up
- Off shoring experience preferred
- Hands on experience in framework creation; metrics definition; data handling and analysis
- Lean Six Sigma training & coaching; Should have driven process improvement projects with tangible benefits
- Conducting of Brainstorming sessions and Facilitating of Value Stream mapping for Finance & Accounting process
- Should have institutionalized CAPA; Experience with data collation, benchmarking & levers identification for improving performance
Skill sets required :
- Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge and ability to train on methodologies across organization
- Strong Verbal, written communication
- Strong facilitation skills
- Thorough understanding of Lean tools and concepts - 52, FMEA, Kanban, CAPA; System skills;
- Solution and Execution mindset; Collaborative;
- Change Management trained
Responsibilities includes
- Study current process performance and create metrics ;
- Design and implement process improvement framework; Facilitate Lean training;
- Conduct Value Stream Mapping & Brainstorming sessions;
- Provide visibility to senior management on process performance and work with stake holders for improvement. Identify improvement opportunity and deliver results;
- Coach and mentor operation managers on quality;
- Create actionable dashboards ;
- Effectively communicate and persuade stakeholders for smooth execution;
- Effectively communicate to management on trend analysis, Staffing, System & process issues.
- Create deployment plan; Metric improvement through POC;
- Draw internal benchmarks to improve performance; Create forum for best practices sharing ;
- Lead FMEA sessions; Create / improve Visual Management system
