Manager - Pricing
We are hiring Pricing Manager for a B2B Logistic Firm at Noida location
Requirement :
- Collaborate with global pricing team to continuously improve processes, and share best practice for pricing
- Provide appropriate pricing for services to customers by applying the departments guidelines, performing profitability analysis, and suggesting optimal pricing.
- Deliver informed decisions about the appropriate price points for various carrier routings based on the analysis of internal, external data and customer needs.
- Respond to spot shipment rate requests in a timely manner and implement tariffs when applicable. Serves as liaison between Sales, Clients and Operations for any questions regarding pricing.
- Identify opportunities for improving pricing and profitability of existing accounts
- Procuring rates from carriers, Promptly attending & responding to inquiries from customers
- Acquiring quote on the Ocean/BBK/RORO/Air /LCL from different liner/ vendors according to shipper request
- Negotiation with carriers Quoting on an enquiry
- Ensure integrity and accuracy cost as well as related financial information.
- Assist pricing negotiations of customers proposals.
- Conduct presentations as well as cost revisions.
- Lead and direct pricing strategy formulation as well as ensure to take pricing actions to enhance profitability.
- Perform financial evaluation to assess pricing actions effectiveness.
- Define new business procedures, evaluate resource requirements and stimulate implementation or maintenance of the pricing system.
- Manage total pricing procedure, enhance processes to make most of efficiencies and ensure timely response to market conditions.
- Establish, negotiate, and execute processes and service level agreements with Ocean carriers that meet the pricing needs of commercial resources and enforce compliance to company policies and relevant regulations while meeting our contractual commitments.
- Manage and supervise pricing analysts to support activities inclusive of new price generation and discrepancy resolution etc.
Required Skills :
- Evaluating production costs to develop pricing strategies
- Understanding the impact of pricing on profit margins
- Developing and defining pricing structures
- Coordinating sales, public relations, advertising and marketing personnel to build pricing models
- Understanding contract negotiations and bids as well as proposal development
