Hiring for Pricing Analytics
The job responsibilities include the following :
- Clearly Setting Project Objectives with the Client - Take initiatives to identify opportunities and develop problem statements to be worked upon.
- Data Extraction, Cleansing and Manipulation - Handle large volume of data, research for variables and work with structured/unstructured data.
- Marketing Analytics - Support the Marketing team with relevant data to identify potential customers with product suggestions. Analyze effectiveness of the various Marketing initiatives
- Underwriting - Support the Underwriting team with inputs on fraud detection, broker performance, etc.
- Predictive Modelling - Development of models using appropriate predictive analytics techniques
- Model Documentation - Clear and Detailed Documentation of the modelling procedures.
- Dashboards - Develop and implement automated dashboards and provide actionable insights.
- Participate in various other analytics projects and work on ad-hoc requests relating to data extractions and visualizations as per the client need
About you :
Personal Qualifications :
- Deep understanding of Pricing (Preferred)
- Strong communicator and team player. Should have experience in client interactions.
- Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment
- Questions existing processes, suggests improvements
Required Education and Skills :
- Academic Background in Statistics, OR, (Quant/Stats Degree)
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience in model development and analytics in pricing (Preferred)
- Strong IT skills - Hands on experience in Data modelling and data analytics tools like SQL, Python and good knowledge in Regression / Machine learning / Statistical
- In-depth knowledge and understanding on linear/polynomial regression
