Reporting To: Lead Portfolio

Education & Experience -

- Must be an MBA from Tier I / Tier II Management Institutes

- Overall experience of 6 to 10 years preferably in pharmaceutical background

- Preferably 2 + years of functional experience in Portfolio Management

Skill Set Required:

- Must understand pharmaceutical business process such as Product Development, Dossier Filing and Pharma Market

- Good understanding and hands-on experience of using various analytical tools and databases

- Good presentation skills and ability to independently conduct secondary research.

- Good project management skills

- Good communication, networking, and interpersonal skills to connect with internal and external stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

- Portfolio Strategy - Work closely with Company's Country Head and India based teams to develop the growth strategy and collaborate with teams to implement the strategy. Work with Key Leaders across functions (Country Commercial teams, JV partners, R&D, Finance, RA, Intellectual property, etc) and define the product road map for selected products right from development to Commercialization.

- Portfolio Selection - Do in-depth analysis of market data to understand opportunities for Company and identify new products which will contribute to future growth. Work closely with RO and KRRP teams to quantitatively define the potential and timelines required for the selected products. Build detailed Business case, TPP document for all selected products

- Portfolio Execution - Engage proactively with key functions in IPDO (R&D, RA, IP, Clinical, SCM, GMO etc.) and Country teams to ensure alignment on the project requirements and dossier filing timelines for the selected products. Actively participate in various reviews with key stakeholders at IPDO to ensure the projects are progressing as per agreed timelines. Understand and identify the potential strategic and operational challenges involved in the delivering the project timelines and escalate the same appropriately to mitigate the risks.

- Global Development - Work closely with Country team and evaluate the commercial interest and timelines requirement of the products selected by US/ EU / India. Participate in Global product selection and ensure requirements are built into the overall delivery process. Build detailed Business case, TPP document for all selected products

- Programme Management of CMO projects - Programme management of Contract Manufacturing projects which includes collaborating with all stakeholders for identifying suitable CMOs, due diligence of the CMO agreements, tech transfer from FTO / IPDO to CMO and filing from entity to save significant Clinical costs or to optimise product registration timelines thus enabling better profitability to company

- Annual Budget Preparation and Regular monitoring - Rationalise and finalise the Annual expense Budget by collaborating with CFTs (IPDO Development and Leverage teams, Clinical teams, IPDO and Country Finance, Regulatory teams, SCM team) and ensure budget availability for all planned activities in the financial year thus enabling product delivery as per the plan. Regularly monitor the actual expenses in order to flag overspending and ensure budget is available to all planned products
