We are currently looking for a Factory IR & HR position with the topmost FMCG Conglomerate in India. The position is to be based at their plant located near Hyderabad.

Education:
- Post graduate degree or diploma in Human Resource management / Personnel Management and industrial relations. Knowledge of labour laws is essential.
Experience:
- 8 to 10 years post qualification work experience. Must have preferably worked in an unionized factory environment and have managed industrial relations.
Job Description
Providing strategic HR direction, partnering with business head and ensuring HR delivery.
- Implemented various Reward & Recognition policies for employee engagement like employee of the month / year, On the spot, Long Service, innovation awards etc.
- Implemented various strategies for Talent Retention like Fast Track and Key Resources identification & their development.
- Culture building initiatives like establishing Core Values by extensive awareness workshops, formation of value committees, Value awards, Vision & Mission sessions etc.
- Implement Quality Circles, Suggestion Scheme, Kaizen, 5“S” , Annual Sports meet, Annual Function, Family Plant Visit, Children’s Poster competition, Health Checkup Camps, Designed and implemented Grievance Redressal Procedure.
- Actively involved in Company Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Employee Relations
- Counselling / grievance handling of the employees to maintain a healthy work environment and facilitating employee satisfaction and IR survey, and community development initiatives.
- Interacting with employees on a regular basis to motivate and boost their morale; attending to employee grievances and resolving interpersonal conflicts through coaching and counselling sessions.
- Organising employee welfare activities, sports & cultural programmes to boost the morale of the employees & their dependents.
- Ensuring that labours deployed are provided with all the basic amenities for healthy along with congenial work environment.
Liaison / Statutory Compliance
- Representing before the statutory authority in conciliation on behalf of the company for various approvals, clearances, negotiations and settlements.
- Carrying out day to day interactions with the Trade Union Officials.
- Coordinating with various departments / branch Head for long term and short term manpower requirements at the unit, at the onset of the financial year, taking into consideration the next 3 yr expansion plan.
- Ensuring compliances of all statuary requirements related to HR (Labour Legislations) and Contractors establishment.
- Implementation of labour laws and adherence of statutory compliance at the plant.
- Impart adequate knowledge of labour laws to the line managers.
- Lead and support the Compliance certification process at the plant and make it robust to provide positive assurance by supporting open and proactive reporting of non compliances.
- Guide and lead self verification audits at the plant pertaining to labour law compliances.
Legal Involvement
- Overseeing legal compliance with respect to Contract Labour management.
Industrial Relation
- Establishing two-way formal as well as informal internal communication channels to bring transparency in industrial relation system.
- Following sustainable IR policies which are in long-term interest of the organisation.
- Handling trade unions and charter of demands.
- Conducting periodical meeting with unions for redressal of grievances for creating an amicable environment in the organisation.
- Discussing & negotiating with employee & union for issues related to work (employees discipline, employees deployment and other IR issues), etc.
Business HR Support:
- Support the effective implementation of people agenda at the plant.
- Develop and implement a resourcing plan for the plant and drive the selection process and facilitate development of resourcing initiatives through appropriate recruitment strategies.
- Partner communications and engagement activity and actively participate in the roll of out employee engagement and change management initiatives in the plant.
- Support the assessment and capability building of the employees at the plant.
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives like Talent Management, performance management, reward and recognition, employee policies, training and development initiatives at the plant.
