Position: Manager - Plant IR & HR and Admin (Leading MNC Manufacturing Company)

Role:

- Will be a deputy to the Head-Plant IR, HR and Admin and will assist the Head in all Plant HR, IR and Admin initiatives

- Work on acquiring, developing, managing & retaining talent on board, Complying HR Policies, & relevant labour laws, managing harmonious relations with employees, union, community and Govt. bodies at large

- Annual Manpower Plan & HR Budgeting & It's implementation and Talent acquisition as per Recruitment plan approved

- Carry out Competency Mapping, Gap Analysis & suggest intervention

- Rollout & implement Training & Development Plan for employees

- Employee Engagement Initiatives

- Nurture harmonious employee & union relations for smooth plant operations

- Proactively address all employee grievances and escalate promptly where ever required

- Contract reviews, implementation with respect to Job / manpower contracts

- Assist in Bilateral wage negotiations for signing Long term wage settlements with the union in respect of Blue collar employees

- Work on Employee discipline - counsel, advise and initiate disciplinary action where ever required and implement mgt. decisions

- Work on statutory compliance by labour contractors under different labour laws

- Work on Employee Welfare Amenities & Colony Administration

- Ensure legal compliance

- Ensure legal audits by different Govt. agencies are complied/responded / closed effectively

- Effectively liaise with Govt. bodies, neighboring units, local community

- Represent Mgt. before various statutory bodies - Dept. of Labour, Inspectorate of Factories, Commissioner of Provident Fund, Directorate of ESI and local govt. authorities

- Initiate & Implement Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives on approvals

Requirements:

- MBA (HR)/MSW

- 8-11 yrs of experience in Plant HR, IR and Admin in a manufacturing company

- Legal Acumen in Employee / Factory laws

- Experience handling unionised employee and experience in wage negotiations for signing Long term wage settlements

- Exposure in SAP -HCM

- In-depth exposure to various functions in plant HR, IR activities

- Good Communication Skills

- Ability to influence stakeholders

- Knowledge of Marathi preferred

Location: Navi Mumbai
