KRAs:

- Responsible for Plant EHS function

- To coordinate /conduct the EHS audit / inspection

- To coordinate with site/units safety coordinators to implement the safety programs

- Conducts audits, carries out accident / incident investigations.

- Conduct Audit as per the OHSAS 18001:2007 requirement.

- Periodically conduct safety audit and identify unsafe conditions & actions across the plant

- Responsible to plan for planning & execution of EHS Training calendar.

- Conduct risk assessment and hazard analysis for current operations, recommends corrective actions and ensures timely implementation to comply with EHS standards.

- Promoting EHS culture Increase engagement of line managers to promote EHS culture.

- Compliance with Factories Act and Environmental norms.

- Implementing EHS work permit system, imparting EHS training to the employees to create / increase awareness.

- Identifying activities and processes which are hazardous and undertaking steps for curtailing associated risks.

- Charting several safety measures for minimizing occurrence of accidents, fires, calamities; conducting inspection for determining the cause of industrial accidents.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Applicant should be minimum graduate in Chemical engineering and should have minimum 12 years of experience in handling factory EHS in FMCG/Food/Beverages/Chemical/Pharma/Healthcare/Agrochemical industry.

Qualification : BE/BTech Chemical with Strong process safety profile.

Area of specialization - Factory/ Plant EHS exp, SAP, EHS Audit, OHSAS-18001, HAZOP, Risk assessment.

- Should have excellent communication skills & personality.

- Should know Marathi language.
