Planning Manager

- Determine and define scope of work and deliverables

- Predict resources needed to complete project and generate purchase Requisition to purchase department.

- Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites

- Draft and submit budget based on scope of work and resource requirements

- Manage costs in order to meet budget

- Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts

- Prepare construction schedule and activities and monitoring of the same on daily basis.

- Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines on weekly and monthly basis to the management.

- Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes

- Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors, clients, internal team.

- Determine and define scope of work and deliverables.

- Analysis of variation claim by vendors, contractors or us to client and closing of the same.

- Value engineering to achieve functionality, safety, speed of execution and quality at lower cost by evaluation of different option.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree/Masters degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.

- 8-10 years of experience in planning management related to buildings and allied infrastructure.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software

- Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles

- Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs

- High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions

- Strong leadership and management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Prepare preliminary estimates at proposal stage.

- Minutes of meeting and distributed tender distributed by Project manager for all weekly project coordination calls.

- Responsible for delivery of project with in the scheduled time and cost.
