Expected profile:

- Engineer plus MBA (operations) (top tier B-School)

- 5-7 years of overall experience. 1-2 years prior experience in a professional consulting firm is preferable.

- Experience of Operational excellence, Manufacturing excellence engagements in Manufacturing organizations of 6 months plus duration. Industry work experience in manufacturing companies is preferable.

- Industry experience: Core Manufacturing, FMCG/Consumer durables, Industrial Products

- Functional experience: Core Operations, Maintenance, Production, Sourcing & Procurement, Cost Reduction & Operational Excellence, Strategy consulting, Supply chain transformation, Organization design and re-structuring, Sales & marketing performance improvement, & Digital transformation

- Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms or corporate strategy

Roles and responsibilities:

- Part of growth strategy team and will have to undertake assignments related to operational excellence, sales improvement, cost reduction, market assessment and productivity improvement.

- Self-motivated, innovative, and strong team player. Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic and multidisciplinary environment and lead projects across cross-functional teams.

- Understand and assess engagement situation through detailed understanding of the client's business situation, market factors, growth aspirations and profitability targets.

- Well-rounded core consulting skills - communication, presentation, problem solving, negotiation, and attention to detail.

- Strong intellect coupled with proficient commercial instincts and business acumen.

- Analyze current systems, processes, behaviors, technology, and work with multiple levels of our client's management teams to effect improvements.

- On-site assessment of client's functional processes and arrive at agreements with client stakeholders based on detailed logical findings. Provide technical advice, working with clients and partners to provide digital solutions that transform business

- Help in creating robust business case for potential improvement areas in line with the engagement objectives.

- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power Point, and exposure to productivity tools like Power BI shall be an advantage.

- Sharp focus on quality delivery and tangible outcome on projects.

- Ability to develop/ customize solutions relevant to client.

- Structure engagement deliverables as per the expectations of the project manager and come up with insights from on ground research and analysis.

- Participate in Business Development Activities (Proposal Writing, POV creation, Industry Trends).

- Travelling to client locations in India and Abroad will be involved
