Manager Workforce Optimisation at Delhi NCR, Gurgaon
Roles and Responsibilities
The Consulting Analytics team is looking for a Manager lead for People & Change. The main focus will be on Workforce Optimisation. The purpose of the role would be to:
- Understand client objectives to ensure prioritisation of analysis to focus on where most value can be added
- Use MS Excel and related toolsets to lead the creation of detailed WO models – including resource and capacity management, Incentive design and Pay structure calculations
- Being responsible for Quality Assurance (model accuracy), to ensure all risks for the firm are covered
- Based on the WO models, make recommendations using the analysis results
- Mentoring, training and management of modeling colleagues within the team
As well as working on standalone People & Change analytics projects, you will also provide subject matter expertise to projects led by other areas such as Financial Management, Business Effectiveness, Operational Strategy or Restructuring. In such situations you will be required to work in partnership with your colleagues as a value add member of the team.
THE INDIVIDUAL
- Minimum of 7 years in an analytical or statistical role, and experience of dealing with UK/US clients directly.
- Experience of working in the HR Analytics domain would be highly preferred.
- Experience of working for a major advisory business with a focus on developing complex Excel-based models to enable senior management decisions
- Experience of working in a global environment, with teams and colleagues located remotely
- Passionate about the discipline/technical skills with a history of continuous learning
- Commercial awareness evidenced by an ability to identify business opportunities
- Drive and resilience to overcome challenges or setbacks
QUALIFICATION
- An MBA / Masters in Human Resources / Masters in Statistics is preferred. In addition, Bachelors (or equivalent) in a numerical subject like Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computers etc.
- Strong Business Modelling and Statistical knowledge, with a focus on converting client requirements into complex models.
- Logical thinker and creative problem solver.
- Team management abilities, with a strong sense of leadership to challenge and bring out the best in colleagues.
- Strong skills in Advanced Excel, Access, SPSS, SAS and SQL Server
- Strong communicator, with an ability to build lasting client relationships
In addition you must have:
- High levels of personal integrity and be a team player with commercial awareness
- Strong drive and resilience to overcome challenges or setbacks
- Strong communication skills
