Competencies :
- Manage the Payroll and all staff benefits fund function, including Provident Fund, Gratuity, Superannuation and Privilege Leave. Ensuring all government tax regulations and policies are followed
- Manage monthly payroll for employees, liaising with local HR to reconcile and resolve employee data variances, and submitting data for processing; reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate reports
- Scrutinize payroll data to ensure consistency and accuracy / reasonableness of employee data provided by HRMS
- Manage outsourced payroll vendor relationships and ensure adherence to policies, procedures and SLAs
- Ensure all Settlement Advice's are approved in a timely manner.
- Perform year-end reporting for all payrolls
- Administer and ensure proper accounting for company & ESOP plan
- Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits. Administer monthly and annual tax settlement for payrolls.
- Record applicable month-end accounting entries to the general ledger controlling accounts for payroll transactions
- Reconcile GL accounts, ensuring reconciling items are reviewed and cleared according to policy.
- Responsible for periodic updates to staff in matters of Staff Welfare Fund, Provident Fund (PF) accounts, etc
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to communicate effectively and confidently
