Job Title: Manager - Payment and Fee Collection (EdTech)
Location: AMR Tech Park Bangalore, India
Working Days: 6 days per week
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to oversee payment-related issues and manage a team responsible for the collection of pending fees from learners. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Excel, fluency in English and Hindi, and a proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the payment processing and fee collection team.
- Ensure timely and accurate collection of pending fees from learners.
- Address and resolve payment-related issues, ensuring smooth financial operations.
- Monitor and analyse payment data using Excel to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce outstanding fees and improve collection efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and support team members to achieve their targets and maintain high performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on payment policies and processes.
- Prepare and present reports on collection status and other key metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree OR Master's in any stream
- 3+ years of experience in payment management, fee collection, or related roles, preferably in the EdTech industry.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
- Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the EdTech/Fintech sector.
- Knowledge of payment gateways and financial management software.
