As Operations Manager, you will be procuring new products, managing Inventory and Supply Chain and Operations.
What you will do:
Procurement
- Searching, Selecting Manufacturer, Procuring Samples and Preparing Proposals for New Products
- Recommending Manufacturer based on Product Analysis, Market Analysis and Cost-Benefit Analysis
- Conducting Product Check, Facility Check, Certifications Check of Manufacturer, Checks on Intervotry and Logistic and Warehouse Partners
- Issuing Purchase Orders for New Products
- Searching, Evaluating and On-Boarding 3 rd Party Test Labs, Forward and Clearance Agents, Insurance Policies, Logistic and Warehouse Partners, Marketplace Fulfilment Partners
- Coordinating with Manufacturer on Delivery of Goods as per Deadlines and Standards.
- Coordinating with 3 rd Party Test Labs on Test of Goods, Forward and Clearance Agent on Shipment and
- Collection of Goods and Insurance Agents on Safety of Goods, Logistics, Warehouse Partners and Marketplaces on Fulfilment of Orders
- Completing all Paperwork and Solve any Problems related to Import and Export of Goods Fulfillment
- Monitoring and Managing any Returns and Damages
- Planning the most cost-effective and efficient ways of Fulfilment of Orders
- Completing all Paperwork and Solve any Problems related to Fulfilment of Orders
Inventory and Supply Chain Management
- Establishing and Maintaining Relationships with Vendors
- Creating Vendor Agreements
- Negotiating Key Terms with Vendors
- Finding a balance between EOQs and MOQs
- Setting up JIT Inventory Management System with FIFO vs. LIFO and Re-Order Point for Inventory
- Designing and Setting up Enterprise Resource Plan Systems, Inventory and Supply Chain Management Systems and Shipment Tracking Systems
- Applying Demand Forecast Practices and Six Sigma Practices
- Ensuring Timely Payments to and from Vendors
- Maintaining Record of all Purchase Orders and Payment Slips and Quality Control Standards and Checklists
- Preparing Daily Analysis and Reports of Inflow and Outflow of Inventory
Operations Management :
- Working with HR Consultants to Create Organization Structure and JD for Operations
- Working Cross-Functionally for efficient and effective Operations
- Evaluating and Hiring Employees under the Operations Team
- On-Boarding and Training Employees under the Operations Team
- Managing Employees under the Operations Team on Daily Activities
- Monitoring Employees under the Operations Team on Attendance and Performance
- Creating Employment Agreements, Employee Manuals, HR Policies and Programs for Employees and Negotiate Key Terms
- Building out Operations Team as Startups achieves Scale
Candidate Profile:
What you need to have:
- 5 Years of experience in Procurement, Fulfilment, Logistics, Inventory or Supply Chain Management in Consumer Product Goods
- Proficiency in using ERP Systems, inventory and Supply Chain Management Systems, Shipment Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to complete required Vendor Agreements, Employment Contracts, Purchase Orders, Payment Slips, Import and Export Documents Etc.
- Ability to Communicate with Vendors for Information
