Manager - Operations - Systems/Virtualization

Opening with US based Company in Bangalore.

Key attributes of this position:

- Solutions-oriented technology management professional with overall 12-15 years of experience and proven track record of IT infrastructure design, architecture, operations

- Assist in the setup, operation and maintenance of data centers

- Lead the support teams and transform them into a SLA lead customer focused team

- Designing and implementation of hybrid hosting services for customers

- Expert with solutions for mission critical cloud services: SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.

- Deep understanding, diverse hands-on experience with complex networking and computing platforms.

- Delivering scalable projects on time utilizing industry standards including ISO900x and ITIL.

- Demonstrated capability in managing technical teams supporting 24/7 operations.

- SLA definition, measurement and compliance

- Excellent People Management skills, talent retention and capability development.

- Exposure to networking/storage technologies

- Hands on experience to troubleshoot and resolve systems (Linux/RHEL/Windows) related problems

- Working experience with VMware & OpenStack technologies.

- Experience with security technologies such as Qualys, Tenable, WhiteHat Security, IBM AppScan, & similar is a plus

- Experience with SolidFire, Nutanix is a plus

Qualifications include:

- Excellent verbal and written and inter personal communication and customer interaction skills

- Broad-based knowledge of experience in datacenter space and cloud transformation, network, systems and storage

- Detail-oriented and ability to meet deadlines, Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

- Candidate from Cloud providers is a plus
