Our Client is a peer- to - peer marketplace for used cars. They offer the average Indian a credible, convenient way to own a car. And without breaking the bank!

As you read this, They are hustling to make used car buying as systematic as ordering a phone off leading e- commerce website.

They are very well funded by SAIF Partners and have built a top notch team. The core team is small (30 members), which allows them to offer leadership roles.

They have been operational in Bangalore for 10 months now. They currently do 250+ transactions every month in Bangalore alone with an average ticket size of 3.5L.

They are expanding to other cities, scaling our online & offline reach scaling the number of transactions 5- 10 x in the next 2 quarters.

As an Operations Manager, you should be awesome with following aspects :

- Own the P & L of a city and manage the critical growth and performance metrics of both the business and people.

- Recruit, train, coach and motivate a team to ensure on time launch of the city

- Shape in the market strategy and execute it as per the plan with the team

- Create, optimize, and iterate on the processes which will lead to outlets success

- Continually improve the customer experience through greater availability, higher seller and buyer on boarding

- Conduct deep research on the city. Know everything about the customer, the competition, city logistics, regulations, and the market opportunity.

- Make sure the market is growing, and do whatever it takes to make it better with every week.

- Set up the logistics and infrastructure required in each outlet.

- Make data driven analytical decisions and run experiments to continually redefine what is normal

- Generate customer insight to feed into and shape product development plans

Desired Candidate Profile :

- 2 - 4 years of work experience in setting / starting up operations, building teams and managing P/L

- Experience in executing a growth plan

- Experience in managing cross functional teams

- Experience in launching in new markets
