Manager - Operations - Alternative Investment Fund

We are looking for a person with 7-9 years of experience in Fund and deal level operations management. The role is for managing the operations of, a SEBI registered Category II AIF and its investments. The candidate should have exposure in managing the end to end operations for fixed income securities including but not limited to cash management, managing back-end operations and reporting. Candidate should have exposure to basic bond market calculations and fund returns. Prior experience in a mutual fund, fixed income broking operations or alternative investment fund setup preferred.

Detailed job description :

- Managing applications and KYC of new fund investors

- Maintaining MIS of investors in the Fund and co-investors in transactions; maintain MIS of payouts, and managing payouts

- Responsible for preparation & delivery of monthly, quarterly, yearly investor reporting's for funds

- Responsible for ensuring all regulatory reporting and compliances in a timely manner by taking assistance from legal and compliance teams of Centrum

- Responsible for managing investors queries on regular basis

- Preparing & sending newsletter to investors in collaboration with Investment team

- Reviewing Capital Calls and Investor Statement of Accounts

- Monitoring Investor Payouts and Distributions, Management Fees, Vendor Expenses charged to Fund

- Preparing Fund NAV and Investor NAV on quarterly basis

- Preparing the IRR and carry calculation for the Investor and Fund

- Ensure control over the funds collected from the investors and constantly communicating to the investors

- Preparing periodic for investors including fund updates, NAV, drawdown notices and statement of holding

- Daily cashflow management of the Fund, investment of surplus funds

- Issuing of deal tickets for trades of the Fund, transfer of securities from the Fund and reporting of trades at stock exchanges

- Directly liasing with vendors for updated portfolio statements, income calculation, fund accounting, tax related queries, etc.
