Manager - Operational Risk - Insurance

We're hiring for a premier Life Insurance Organization for the role of Operational Risk.

The Job Description is as given below :

- Operating as a member of the risk team, responsible for providing support on operational risks facing the business.

- The job holder is also responsible for helping and putting in place the necessary mechanisms, to ensure that the risk appetite frameworks is aligned with Group risk strategy and is used for decision-making across the business.

- The job holder will support in review and challenge the risk assessment and help in providing independent opinion of the risk exposure and providing advice to the business on how best to manage and mitigate these exposures

- Knowledge of RCSA (Risk Control Self Assessment )

- Specialized in Risk Reporting, created & published multiple operational risk reports

- Responsible for helping different business in identifying, assessing and monitoring key operational risks by understanding their business process, risk appetite, and control mechanism

- Assist in the design of Operation risk policies and lead in the implementation of the policies

- Working with RCS (Risk & Control Services), Information Security, BCP team, Physical Security to determine audits and complete risk process.

- Risk assessment for every major business decision (M&A, distribution, products, change programs etc) and the business planning process

- Strengthen the Key risk registers framework including embedding robust RCSA process, Loss Event database, and implement a structure for capturing emerging risks

- Help in creating risk management awareness across all levels of the organization via trainings and campaigns

- Conduct thematic reviews in high risk areas and in conjunction with APRO teams.

- Use analytics to validate the accuracy of KRIs published by the 1st line
