Black Belt (Manager) Operational Excellence and Quality Assurance

Black Belts will develop and execute frameworks for operations excellence

Key activities :

- Independently lead organization wide projects on improvement / innovation

- Drive and provide mentorship on improvement projects. Also track efficiency / productivity / quality improvement

- Assessing and enhancing operational controls

- Design and execute on training programs for use of quality tools in operations

- Review and analyze results to determine necessary procedural changes or applicable corrections at both the plan and participant level. For complex product features, utilize data mining skills and identify key attributes to highlight trends and anomalies.

- Intellectual curiosity required to ask the right questions and drive out inconsistencies. Research the anomalies and create solutions to improve processes, automate tasks and to enhance control reporting.

- Work requires the exercise of initiative and judgment on addressing and resolving highly complex processes and recommending alternative courses of action if needed.

- Document audit processes, findings and proposed solutions for presentation to senior management.

- Comprehensive knowledge of the business and products/services will be necessary

- Provide inputs to validate that systems are functioning properly and that control reporting is being generated and reviewed. Provide feedback of challenges to related teams for process improvement and system

- Provide supervision, training, coaching, motivation and personal development of department management staff to maximize the departments- resources.

Minimum Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline. Retirement planning or investment industry experience preferred.

- Minimum 10 years of experience with atleast 2 years as a Quality leader or Master blackbelt

- Strong organizational, communication, analytical and problem solving skills required
