Summary:

Manager - Operational Excellence to drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize processes, and implement Lean methodologies in our electrical manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Toyota standards, inventory management, and lean implementation, backed by certifications in Lean and deep industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Process Improvement:

o Implement and maintain improvement processes aligned with Toyota standards.

o Identify opportunities for optimization across production and organizational processes.

2. Lean Implementation :

o Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance efficiency and eliminate waste.

o Drive the adoption of Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, VSM, and Standard Work.

o Conduct training programs to build Lean capabilities within the team.

3. Inventory Management :

o Monitor and optimize inventory levels to ensure smooth production flow.

o Implement systems to reduce overstocking, understocking, and inventory holding costs.

4. Standards and Compliance :

o Ensure adherence to Toyota production standards across the organization.

o Develop and implement policies for operational excellence and compliance.

5. Leadership and Team Development :

o Mentor cross-functional teams to instill a culture of continuous improvement.

o Collaborate with leadership to align organizational goals with operational excellence strategies.

6. Performance Metrics:

o Develop KPIs to monitor progress in productivity, quality, and efficiency.

o Report regularly on process improvements and Lean implementation success.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Experience: 12-18 years in a manufacturing environment (preferably electrical manufacturing).

- Lean Expertise: Certified in Lean methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).

- Knowledge:

o Deep understanding of Toyota Production System (TPS).

o Proficiency in improvement processes and Lean implementation.

o Strong inventory management and tracking skills.

- Industry Knowledge: Experience in 0.4 industry standards is highly preferred.

- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
