Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring Online Presence:

a. Regularly monitor various online platforms, including social media, review sites, forums, and news articles, to track mentions of the brand or individual.

b. Use monitoring tools to stay updated on online sentiment and identify potential issues.

2. Analysis and Reporting:

a. Analyse data and metrics related to online reputation to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

b. Prepare regular reports on the online reputation status and present findings to relevant stakeholders.

3. Content Development:

a. Create and promote positive content to enhance the online presence of the brand or individual.

b. Develop engaging and shareable content for various platforms to highlight positive aspects and achievements.

4. Crisis Management:

a. Actively address and mitigate negative information or reviews by developing and implementing effective crisis management strategies.

b. Collaborate with the PR and communications team to respond to and manage online crises promptly.

5. Social Media Management:

a. Manage and curate social media profiles to ensure a positive and consistent brand image.

b. Engage with the online community, respond to comments, and address concerns in a professional manner.

6. SEO Strategy:

a. Develop and implement SEO strategies to influence search engine results and push positive content to the forefront.

b. Optimise online content to improve search engine rankings and control the narrative.

7. Collaboration:

a. Work closely with marketing, public relations, and customer service teams to align online reputation strategies with overall business goals.

b. Collaborate with legal teams when necessary to address false or damaging information.

8. Continuous Improvement:

a. Stay updated on industry trends, online platforms, and new technologies relevant to online reputation management.

b. Proactively identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance the overall online reputation.

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years' proven experience in online reputation management or a related role. Agency experience is an added benefit.

- Strong understanding of social media platforms, SEO, and online analytics.

- Excellent communication and writing skills.

- Crisis management experience is a plus.

- Familiarity with online monitoring tools.
