Manager - New Product Development - FMCG

1. NPD Coordination :

- Ensure the right project management and coordination of all the activities related to the NPD process from the selection of RM, recipe design, lab trials, industrial trials, study of the FP.

- Ensure the coordination of all the above activities with the stakeholders involved.

- Ensure the right level of documentation to support and record the information related to the activities on NPDs.

- Monitoring NPD sample connectivity to different stakeholders as per requirements for different high profile meetings.

2. Performance and monitoring of all the studies required to assess the products requirement

- (Accelerated Shelf Life Study (ASLT)

- Sensory Evaluation & Transit Trial Evaluation of

- Trial products

- Existing standard available locally & internationally

- All the additional studies required with critical spirit and proactivity).

- Sharing the trial results after study to concern stack holders.

3. Recipe and product design Management

- To keep the recipes (and the RMs) in compliance with the PVM polices and the legal requirements

- Liaison with different ingredients manufacturer & flavour houses to arrange required ingredients & flavours for trials.

- After product outcome and tasting with core team, sharing feedback to Ingredients manufacturer & flavour house for adjustment.

4. BOM Validation and budget:

- Ensure the correct data also through validation exercise for the sensitive information of BOM for all the products live SKUs and NPDs.

- Share the information with the relevant stakeholders and support the budget activities.

- Coordination with Stores and Purchase on the BOM & SAP related activities

5 Ensure the right support and management of the following software/tools

- PDR

- Ducatus

- SAP

- LEGO and 5 pillars

- Flavour room traceability

6. Product and process troubleshooting activities

- Plant Round to check running products, parameters, machine & equipment's outcome and performance.

- Preparation of Technology transfer documents for new products, R&D methodology.

- Establishing & Validate the technological Parameters for NPD. Establish, Validate and ensure to align the parameters along with stakeholders

7. General Responsibilities in addition to the above KRAs.

- Weekly P&T meeting preparation (project management) ensuring updates and planning of required inputs/trials/studies.

- Monthly NPD meeting updates and planning of required trials, communications and releasing project finalisation/cancellation/WIP.

- Monthly reports preparation for various activities, CFT meeting, updates, report circulation, record monitoring
 
Essential :

- Graduate/Post graduate in Food Technology/ Science, Dairy Technology/ Science from institutes like CFTRI, ICT, HBTI, NDRI, LIT.

8-12 years of expereince.
