- Working on a new menu/category/product/variant launch from product conception to market readiness for both the Restaurant Chain business and Packaged Food business
- Managing a team of chefs to create prototypes and test them internally
- Identify key vendors for manufacturing, negotiate the commercials & work with them on the final product
- Set product development timeline & meet the delivery time
- Decide on product specifications including recipes, packaging, nutrition, shelf life, etc.
- Manage the entire PNL responsibility for the new product vertical, including product costing and margin analysis
- Work closely with the market research team to study, identify, and target potential white spaces, international trends, new product ideas, and developments in the FMCG dessert market.
- Should be able to identify good food /deserts
- Should have an eye for new food ingredients, food technology and trends
- 5-8 years in Baking, food manufacturing, FMCG, etc. industries with good knowledge of food technology and processing, ingredients, etc.
- Experience of dessert/savory products will be preferred
Education: Food technology background required
