Job Description:
- Identify consumer and market trends to determine new product opportunities and present.
- Interact with the Key Stakeholders to develop a product lineup, specifications, pricing, competitive analysis, and product launch timeline.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy from product portfolio lens that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Own, drive and deliver the brand's P&L goals in collaboration with the channel heads for all the key launches.
- Oversee the management of the product portfolio, including product development, innovation, and lifecycle management.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer trends, market opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Use data-driven insights to inform brand strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Development, Supply Chain, and Finance, to ensure alignment and support for brand initiatives.
- Define and track key performance metrics to measure the success of brand initiatives on product portfolio.
- Ensure the product quality of current portfolio is in line with the consumer expectations.
- Managing the variants and pack sizes with channels team and ensuring timely delivery.
- Lead packaging projects from activity management POV.
- Lead claim substantiation with agencies and drive product differentiation from consumer lens.
The Successful Candidate?
- Candidates coming with strong (3+ years)new product development (NPD) experience in the FMCG domain at D2C brands.
- Confident and capable communicator (verbal and written).
- Must have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) Fundamental understanding of product design and/or manufacturing.
- Strong data management and analytical mind with a strategic ability to support category decisions.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree is a must
- MBA would be a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively.
Location: In Gurgaon or Willing to relocate to Gurgaon.
