Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and formulation of new products within the flavors industry, focusing on both liquid and powder technologies.
- Drive process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Coordinate with toll manufacturers to ensure the timely and cost-effective production of new products.
- Ensure all new product development activities comply with plant safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production, to bring new products from concept to market.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative approaches into product development.
- Provide technical support and training to production teams to ensure the successful scale-up of new products.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to new product formulations, process improvements, and safety protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
- B.E. Chemical, B.Sc. in Chemistry, B.Tech. in Food Technology, or equivalent.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in the flavors industry with a strong background in liquids and powders technologies.
- Proven expertise in process improvement and new product development (NPD).
- Strong coordination skills to work effectively with toll manufacturers.
- Comprehensive knowledge of plant safety standards and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to stay updated with industry trends and integrate new technologies into product development processes
