Job Description:

Job purpose :

- This position will assist with product development for the Mobile App and M-Sales app.

- This includes managing development cycles, product-feature scoping & enhancements, project management of mobile apps. Must be well-versed with the App ecosystem- app store functioning/management, various modules of the app like a recommendation, analytics, notification tools, etc. In addition, experience in B2B or customer care apps would be an advantage.

Key purpose of the role:

- This role will lead initiatives in technology and product development on the consumer mobile app and the M-Sales (enterprise) app for frontline sales team/dealer partners.

- The key KPIs to define front end journeys, enhance business rules, help in achieving business objectives for self-service/self-care on the consumer and optimize the enterprise app for frontline sales teams for enablement of objective fulfillment. The role would achieve this by developing innovative solutions, improving existing product flows and analyzing consumer behavior through analytics/Voice of internal and external customers.

Duties and responsibilities :

- Ideate and bring to life new features and enhance existing features for the mobile app and the B2B enterprise app (M-Sales)

- Involvement in new product concept brainstorming meetings.

- Generate business and functional specs related to mobile apps (consumer and enterprise).

- Create end to end solutions and process related to the product and get approvals for the same from all stakeholders.

- Assist with managing the product development process from the concept phase to the post-launch analysis phase.

- Analyse app update usage based on versions and new features added. Keep track of usage numbers and effectively chart out the next steps based on analytics.

- Primary liaison with vendors for Product Development from UI/UX to product specifications.

- Attendand conduct regular review meetings, issue tracking and risk analysis with vendors

- Create documents for the product required for training field service and customer service teams on new products.

- Ensure the accuracy of a product working in communications being sent to internal stakeholders and subscribers.

- Guarantees deadlines are met to obtain working demos and for the final product.

- Monitor timelines slippage and note down the slippage reasons.

- Works with the Quality Compliance/testing department regarding any and all product issues.

- Work with business readiness teams to ensure operational backend and customer teams are ready for new feature implementations.

- Help drive usage and user experience of such products by partnering with research, UI teams, internal marketing, and customer teams

- Drive innovation by keeping a close eye on the competition, trends, market needs, availability of new and enabling technology, etc.

- Manage the lifecycle of such products and partner with internal and 3rd party teams to develop and deliver such products along with the backend support teams to ensure end2end solutions

- Review proposals and UIUX delivered by partners and buy-in from internal stakeholders

- Raise change requests with partners and participate in project timelines definition/ delivery

- Suggest improvements in the existing product

- Well-versed with the App ecosystem- App store functioning, analytics, etc. Needs to be familiar with Analytics, notification and recommendation tools.

- Deep understanding of consumer technology, mobile apps, entertainment devices, and related market trends. B2B app experience, Payment, eCommerce apps would be an advantage.

- Worked on Self-service/customer care features on the app/web.

- Experience in a technology-related product role - mobile platforms, OTT, cable & satellite, telecom, etc.

- Technology friendly- enthusiastic about new technologies like Voice Assistants, IoT, etc.

- Appreciation and understanding of UI/UX.

- Proven ability to multi-task and handle multiple complex initiatives.

- Excellent verbal & written communication skills - cross-functional and stakeholders.

- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

- Some Business development or strategic relationship management experience.

- Participation or lead experience in project management.
