Manager - Network Architect

- Should have 8 yrs- 12 yrs experience in network architecture and designing for corporate customer. Supports the assessment of Network architecture to determine areas of improvement. Defines the "as-is" state of network architecture.

- In alignment with enterprise architecture and strategic business objectives, prepares procedures to migrate network architecture to the desired future state.

- Provides guidance on architecture solutions and designs for key projects. Supports the definition and selection of enterprise standards including tools, technology, applications, and processes. Designing solutions as required.

- Provides direction on a variety of design decisions including, solution evaluation and selection, buy vs. build questions, project estimates, platform selection and high level technical design.

- Participates in the review and approval of enterprise architecture frameworks and guiding principles. Ensures that business strategy, enterprise Network and implementation are aligned.

- Advisory for best practices procedures to ensure a uniform Network architecture.

- Gathers technical and business requirements, develops roadmaps and communicates Enterprise Network Technology strategy.

- Directs teams for the Network related initiatives. Identifies opportunities to leverage technology needs throughout the IT organization to enhance levels of Network.

- Partners with key associates and stakeholders to create well-defined solutions in alignment with the Network architecture framework.

- Researching new vendors, technology trends and industry best practices. Evaluates relevancy and impact of implementing new Network architecture technologies and methodologies

- Driving innovations across GNS and analyze for realistic idea's, preparing planning for making those ideas to a successful innovation.
