Manager - Model Delivery Management - SAS - Bank

Looking for professionals having experience in Credit risk modeling, validation, implementation, monitoring etc with good experience of SAS. Should have experience in model delivery management and stakeholder management.

Model Management is part of Enterprise Risk Analytics (ERA), which itself is part of the broader Enterprise Risk Management organization within the Risk & Compliance Division.

The Analyst, Model Delivery Management will support the Head, Model Delivery Management and team colleagues to deliver:

- Facilitation of model delivery across all stages of the model risk lifecycle across all model families in the Group.

- Delivering and maintaining the Group Model Inventory content and artefacts.

- Consolidation, tracking and monitoring of model delivery pipeline planning across the Group, with particular focus on IRB / IMM / IMA / IFRS9 model families.

Key Supporting Activities

1. Manage the Model Inventory, Planning and Management for Enterprise Risk Analytic Models

2. Assisting with ongoing improvements and attestations on the Model Risk Management tool

3. Perform Model Lifecycle tasks to ensure Models are delivered in an efficient manner

4. Perform reporting on the Model Landscape to enable Model Planning

5. Facilitate issue resolution for models

6. Tracking and driving to delivery any action items relating to models e.g. from Validation, GIA or External Auditors

7. Drive stakeholder engagement across the model lifecycle

8. Understand Models to enable effective management of model risk on an individual model level and an aggregate model view

9. Provide insights on themes across model families

10. Manage implementation of Models into key source systems for Enterprise Risk Analytic Models

11. Assist to ensure governance requirements are met for models

12. Assist to drive and build the model portfolio strategy

13. Act as a central team to assist with model management activities across the bank

14. Develop thought leadership on Model Risk, Model Management and Model Delivery across the bank

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

1. 5-10 years banking industry experience

2. Experience across various lifecycle steps especially in model development and model implementation

3. Understanding of the key risks associated with model risk

4. Project Management experience is ideal, especially some experience in Agile project management

5. Excellent presentation skills

7. Expert in stakeholder management

8. Expert in presenting difficult concepts in a clear and concise way
