As Manager in the Mid-Markets Buy Side team, you will play a pivotal role in new client acquisition, expanding business within existing clients, and driving deal structuring and conclusion from the buy side. You will collaborate closely with the sell side team to ensure seamless transaction closure.
Education: Management Degree in Finance/Marketing from Top Premier Management Institutions
Experience: 3-10 years of experience in financial services (Banks/NBFC) with a focus on business development, specifically in closing deals within SME/MID MARKET segments.
Location: Mumbai/Bangalore
Job Responsibilities-
- Demonstrate a strong bias for action, valuing speed and perfection in deal making.
- Flourish in a flat and open organizational structure.
- Exhibit self-starting qualities with a natural inclination to own company and team goals, showing a keen desire to learn and contribute.
- Work on a target list derived from the SME/MID-MARKET space.
- Guide the client acquisition team to prospect and create opportunities.
- Engage with prospects and convert opportunities into firm deals with a clear deal mandate.
- Align with the sell side post-business selection, creating information memoranda with target lenders and appropriate structures.
- Handhold through the entire deal cycle alongside the sell side.
- Plan and meet P&L budget objectives.
- Negotiate with stakeholders on term sheet closure, finalization of deal structure, due diligence, and fee collection.
- Possess a deep understanding of business and industry, conducting analysis for the target company/sector.
- Collect data for transactions and conduct industry analysis for the relevant geography.
- Handle various types of transactions, including working capital & term loans, structured transactions, equity raising transactions, and corporate advisory mandates.
