JOB TITLE: Manager Merchandising & Catalogue BAND: Health& Glow DEPARTMENT: H&G REPORTING TO: HEAD - CATEGORY, CATALOGUE & MERCHANDISING - ECOMMERCE LOCATION: Bangalore YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 6 years + EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: AG/UG BUSINESS UNIT: H&G Role Summary End to end Product Category & Catalogue management Key Result : Areas : - Identify the best potential brands in the market and ensuring a smooth on boarding. - Negotiate and close the best TOTs with the brands - Manage healthy and strong relationship with the brands and vendors - Ensure end to end vendor management from brand launch to post sales reconciliation. - Ensuring product catalogue hygiene through the quality Products Images, Product Name, Product Title lifestyle image, product descriptions etc. - Coordinate & Follow up with brands to get the best content, images, product descriptions and get them uploaded on Site/App - Coordinate & Follow up with the content Agency for image edit, product description, and monthly website audit. - Ensure the best possible Category tree experience and product catalogue quality on the app & website by regularly reviewing with relevance to consumer behaviour and comparing with competition. - Quality assurance in terms of the quality Product catalogue content provided on the site. - Periodic detailed Audit & QC of all product contents link Images, Description & Category Tree etc. - Ensuring best presentation of the Assortment on the H&G app/ site by : 11.1. Following process and coordinating with production agency to ensure new SKU launches go live online along with offline. 11.2 Managing brand relationships and Coordinating with offline merchandising team wherever required to To ensure bests possible content is available for an excellent customer experience. 11.4 Assisting in research for identifying gaps in assortment. 11.5 Ensuring the best landing page experience to the customer 12. Assisting in tracking of offers and promotions online by assisting in keeping a regular track of competition, 13. Assisting and delivering on: 13.1. Ensuring product catalogue hygiene 13.2. Assisting in identifying gaps in assortment and reduce the gap to zero within the TAT 13.3. Assisting and tracking of offers and promotions online 13.4. Ensuring the quality of Product content in app/site 13.5. Regular Competition Mapping Critical Success Factors for the role : 1. Excellent command on English (written)/ Spelling accuracy is must. Speed with accuracy 2.Experience of Online Product Catalogue Management 3.Good command on MS office (Excel & Word) 4. Experience in product Upload process 5. Good relationship management skills 6. Ability to grasp knowledge about H&G product categories 7. Experience in team handling COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE : Technical Behavioral : Able to manage relationships with different kinds of brands/ vendors/ suppliers & internal teams COORDINATES WITH INTERNAL EXTERNAL : - Position Purpose Position Purpose - Marketing team - Ensure the banners and creatives launch in line with the product launch on app/site Brands - Products, Margins, Prices, Promotion, Content, Product Catalogue inputs, Quality Product images, Product details, Promotions - Content team - Coordinating process for sourcing product descriptions Agencies - Coordinating photoshoot for Product Images and image correction and resizing. - Follow-up with Catalogue agency for image edit and App Audit - Overall Category team - Brand relationship management for Quality - Product Content - Content writers - Coordinating process for sourcing product descriptions & other content Additional Inputs: - NICE TO HAVE but not compulsory 1.
