Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced MEP Procurement Manager to join our team in the warehousing industry. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 to 18 years of experience in procurement, with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for MEP systems and equipment
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors
- Manage the procurement process from RFQ to PO, including issuing purchase orders and managing deliveries
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that may arise
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors
- Identify cost savings opportunities and implement cost-reduction measures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 15 to 18 years of experience in procurement, with a strong background in MEP systems
- Experience in the warehousing industry is highly preferred
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and procedures
- Proficient in MS Office and procurement software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
